A shore power connector was built to carry current, not to carry a cord.

Your shore power cord hangs about eight pounds off the connector. Strain Guard carries the weight instead. No tools. No wiring. Works with the cord you already own.

Heavy power cables pull down on the connection point. That pull works the connector loose over time, and a loose contact makes heat — even when the power itself is perfectly normal.
Heat softens the plastic and takes the spring out of the metal. Less spring means less contact pressure. Less pressure means more resistance, and more resistance means more heat. It feeds itself until something melts.
The U.S. Fire Administration counts about 4,200 RV fires a year, with an average loss of $15,350.
In 2019 ours caught fire. We found it in time. Not everyone does.

Every unit in the field so far was printed one at a time and sold at a pre-production price. They were never a revenue line — they’re a beta cohort. What you tell us goes straight into the production design.
